GoodRep Media is seeking a talented and driven WordPress Developer with expertise in the Divi theme to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work directly under the Director of GoodRep Media, contributing to the creation, maintenance, and optimization of WordPress websites that align with our clients’ goals. This role requires a blend of technical skills, creativity, and a marketing mindset to produce high-performing websites that drive results.

Responsibilities:

• Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using the Divi theme and builder.
• Conduct comprehensive website audits to identify performance, usability, and SEO improvements.
• Collaborate with the Director of GoodRep Media to ensure client requirements and branding guidelines are met.
• Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and search engine visibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including debugging and plugin conflicts.
• Develop and maintain documentation for site architecture, functionality, and updates.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress and Divi features, trends, and best practices.
• Provide technical support and training to clients or team members as needed.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in building and customizing WordPress websites, with a deep understanding of the Divi theme and builder.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (PHP knowledge is a plus).
• Sales and marketing mindset to create websites that not only function well but also drive business goals.
• Exceptional communication skills for working with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio showcasing your projects.
• Solid understanding of website architecture, including UX/UI principles, SEO, and performance optimization.
• Some familiarity with website hosting, domain management, and security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to assess and improve site performance.
• Knowledge of content management systems and integration with third-party tools (e.g., CRM or marketing automation platforms).
• Basic graphic design skills for minor website elements and layouts.
